Lonely Sailboats
I suppose that after a long day traversing the Atlantic, these sailboats need their rest. So peaceful, so reflective. Enjoy

As the Olympics approach, I wonder when if they might consider bridge jumping into tidal pools. As the tide ebbs and flows, I'm sure this is more or less dangerous, depending on the time of day, but this boy doesn't seem to care at all. I like his form, it's originality, degree of difficulty, and I give him a 9.8. It would have been a 10, but his right foot is not pointing like the left. Enjoy.

If you squint, you'll see the insanely outrageous Godzilla cigarette boat hustling seasick passengers across the Boston Harbor. The red/ yellow speedboat takes about 30 passengers on a wild and raucous ride around the Boston Harbor for tours all summer. If you are ready to handle the vomit inducing ride, strap yourselves in and enjoy.

Yesterday was a glorious day in Kenebunkport, ME, where it was an
astonishing 85 degrees on Oct 10, and very clear skies. I was hoping
for a few clouds to add some drama to some photos, but it wasn't to be.
We had just made a quick run before dinner to show my kids the George
Bush compound, and on our way back, this looked like it could be a cool
sunset over the Atlantic Ocean. I did an HDR of this, but this was the
first photo of the bracketed shot. It doesn't reveal any lens flare,
but I really liked the rocky coast in dark shadow. The clouds just gave
it some nice sunburst effect in camera.
Go ahead, take some photos into the sun. I'm getting more confident in
doing it and actually, don't mind the solar flare, it's kinda cool.
Enjoy.

Just dreaming about the beautiful sunsets we had off the Cruise last summer. This was one of them. Enjoy.

These three old dock posts were jutting out of the water on this otherwise pristine beach in Roatan, Honduras. Must have been an old shipping dock, but the tourists have killed it with their desire to keep the ships away from the beautiful beach. Enjoy.

I'm not sure exactly where I was on the Atlantic when I took this photo, but it was somewhere just south of the Florida Keys while we were heading towards Grand Cayman. I didn't do anything to this photo, the sky was this vibrant. Enjoy.
