Lake Solitude, Newbury, NH

Posted on 7/18/2016 by Unknown | 0 comments

It takes a rigorous hike uphill about 1,500 feet to reach this beautiful and serene pond.  It's actually called Lake Solitude.  Pack some snacks, water, and good hiking shoes.  Contrary to what the information guy said at Lake Sunapee resort, it's not an easy hike.  Enjoy.

Church Chat

Thanks for the patience of my family to get this shot.  I had to sprint 100 yards up and down a steep hill, twice, to grab the right lens and then hope the shot was still there.  I didn't  even notice the kyak guy in the shot below the church.  Thanks buddy.  This was my favorite from the day.  Enjoy.

Would you like to sit by the pond with me?

This photo taken on the grounds of a relatively new Vineyard in, get ready for this, North Canton, OH. I grew up nearby and this couple took a chance on an old barn, converted it to a beautiful restaurant and now they grow their own wines. It's quite nice and risky in this working class city. I applaud them for their entrepreneurial spirit. Enjoy.

More Central Park Beauty

Posted on 11/02/2011 by Unknown | 0 comments

What more can you say?  It's Central Park.  The best city park on the planet.  The place is just beautiful all year round.  I just love the combination of nature juxtaposed against Architecture.  Amazingly, this was taken in late October this year and very few leaves are turning.  It almost looks like mid summer.  I was trying to frame the two high rise buildings w/ the branches, so it gave them a hat.  Enjoy.

Central Park Serenity

I crouched down near these flowers to frame the rowboats on the water at the pond in Central Park, NY. Enjoy.

Walkway Pond in the back yard.

Out the back door of my parents house in North Canton, OH, resides a walking path and this small pond.  This post is in honor of my parents who just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.  This is a great little space to take a relaxing walk.  Enjoy.
