If you are in NYC and get the chance don't miss the trip to the new One World Trade Center Observatory.  It's worth the cost of admission.  The elevator ride up and down are the coolest elevator ride you'll ever experience.  Face the back of the elevator, because all of the elevator panels are video screens.  The surprise at the end of the video is awesome.  Enjoy.

I've found the best statue of liberty head shot for the new stamp.  How could our US Postal service screw that one up so badly?  Using the Vegas statue is inexcusable.  Enjoy.

Monday is Patriots Day here in Massachusetts and I was thinking of what would be an appropriate patriotic symbol to post.  A few years back we did the New York City trip with the family and hit the ferry to Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty.  Even if you grew up in this country, it's still a moving experience thinking about the millions of people that came through this area, and this was their first impression of the United States.
