Coming around a corner and this tree just screamed "take my picture" at us.  Pretty cool how the cows grazing in the field behind could have cared less.  But then, they pretty much don't care about anything.  Enjoy.

Yes, riding home with my 16 yr old daughter, I needed something to take my mind of her new driving skills, and coaxed her to pull over while I took some photos at Lake Quanapowitt in Wakefield, MA. Enjoy.

Have you ever been walking in the forest, and you happen upon an old fallen tree, wondered when it fell, how it fell, and did anyone hear it? JK. I really liked the textures, rocks, mold, colors, and all that, while heading back to the car in the woods near Jackson, NH. I was looking over my shoulder for Bears, but stopped quick enough to grab this HDR shot. Enjoy.

No, this is not a close up of a rose bush, but a photo of a type of tree found in Costa Maya.  I saw this next to the Mayan ruins, and thought the spikes on the outside of the tree were pretty awesome.  Nice defense against climbing animals.  Enjoy.
