Most likely left in the aftermath of some spring rains along the Merrimack River in Haverhill, MA, I spotted these sister logs jutting up from the water in this tidal river. I walked so far down the bank, I almost got stranded as the tide was coming back in. The mucky muddy sandy banks were almost quicksand-like. The clouds were very cooperative that day. Enjoy

I may have mentioned, I'm taking photos of an old paper mill that is being demolished in Haverhill, MA on the Merrimack River. This is looking up at the 150' high smokestack that was part of the power plant that ran the mill for over 100 years. This building is very cool and I have lots more to share later. It's all gone now. Enjoy.
