Everglades, FL
Looks like the clouds are posing for this one. It helps when you sit in the front seat of the airboat. Enjoy.

Most likely left in the aftermath of some spring rains along the Merrimack River in Haverhill, MA, I spotted these sister logs jutting up from the water in this tidal river. I walked so far down the bank, I almost got stranded as the tide was coming back in. The mucky muddy sandy banks were almost quicksand-like. The clouds were very cooperative that day. Enjoy

It's about making the photo. I saw this cool piece of driftwood floating in the ocean, walked around before most of the beach was packed with sun bathers, and walked all the way to the end of the beach to avoid some people, laid down on my stomach and took the shot. Taken on Labadee, Haiti. Enjoy.

Salem, MA is most noted for it's witches and odd stories of such, but on a lazy Sunday afternoon, I grabbed this shot of their power plant. It sit's to the north of the downtown area and is quite noticeable from the waterfront. I noticed how the stacks appear to be creating the clouds. It felt better in B&W.

While riding back from Yellowstone to our cabin at Jackson Lake Lodge, I saw this view from the roadside and had to stop for a few pics. So glad I caught this view during this sunset. Enjoy.

Ok, it's a popular spot, but
the overlook at Mt. Washington can provide a great view for some
spectacular sunsets. This one had a cool cloud formation that almost
looked like a giant shrimp net reaching out to catch you. Enjoy.

I caught this sunrise from the deck of our cruise
ship the last day of the trip in Ft. Lauderdale. It looked like a bunch
of explosions over the horizon as the sun peeked around the
cloudbursts. Enjoy.

I keep driving by these marshy, open areas with all these dead trees in
and opening. I find it very creepy, so I had to take this photo last
Saturday. I was out driving with my daughter (she's 16 now) and
purposely had her pass by this area that I've wanted to shoot for a
while now. Hope you like it. Enjoy.

I saw a story on the news tonight of this mysterious orange vertical smoke plume in, of course California. The military doesn't know what it was, nor does NORAD, nor does our defense department. It looked like a rocket trail, but the mystery remains. This photo I took off the deck of the Celebrity Solstice while heading into the western Caribbean looks eerily like that photo on the TV. I think this is more like a weird cloud thing or jet contrails. Definitely not a rocket. Enjoy.
