I climbed down this rickety ships ladders at the harbor in Rockport, MA to get this down low shot of the famous red fishermans building. I've seen and taken so many pics from the traditional viewport, that I wanted to try something new. I love the patina on the dingy. I also love that word, Dingy, dingy dingy. One Ringy Dingy Two ringy dingy, remember that?

The impact of a rose placed in one of the names of the lives lost on 911 is powerful. 911 Memorial, NYC.

Except, when it adorns the 911 Memorial, it takes on a whole new meaning.

Awesome view from the Rare View bar atop the Hilton in the Fashion District of NYC. We had some drinks there a few weekends ago. The view is spectacular. The lighted area to the left is overspill from Times Square. Enjoy.

It's not every day you get to see a $425,000 car cruising the streets. This guy was thrilled with the attention he got as he rolled into Little Italy in NYC recently. Note the irony. This is a 50th Anniversary Lamborghini Aventador. Enjoy.

Ominous storm clouds heading towards our house last night. Passing monsoon lasted only about 20 minutes. Enjoy.

My new diet is working wonders. Just walk by a motorcycle with lots of chrome, and find a point where you look really thin. Taken up in Newburyport, MA on a crappy day, but it was a very cool bike. My legs have always been skinny, but this is over the top. Even the Lexus SUV behind me was transformed into a coupe. Enjoy.

I opened the freezer the other day and found these little nuggets of goodness (don't tell my daughter) ready for consumption. Thank you Mariott for the idea to freeze grapes and eat them subzero. It was humid out and the moisture had condensed nicely on the outside enough for me to grab my macro lens and hold the freezer door open while taking some shots. My kids thought I was insane, but I just loved the crystals that had formed on the outside of these red grapes. Enjoy.

You've seen it before in my pics, but this is a shot of the John Hand bridge spanning the Mystic River from the opposite side looking back at my office. My office is just over the bridge in the ground level of the brick building. Enjoy.

Trinity Church, perhaps H.H. Richardson's best known structure in America, stands proud next to the Boston Marathon finish line. Here she sits at night looking good as ever. Enjoy

Yes, they are just born from a mother goose on the ledge next to my office. I checked on them today and they had flown the coop, or something like that, they were gone into the water below overnight. I didn't see them and was hoping to get some more photos, but they just couldn't wait to leave the nest. Enjoy.

These upside down Rubra Maxima appear to mock the natural way of growing upward. Taken in Boston at the Old South Church. Enjoy.

I NEVER in my life thought I'd see a sign like this. I thought the terrorists didn't win! Thank God they caught the bad guys and we can get back to some normalcy. Even though I don't personally know any of those injured or killed, we are all affected by the events of this past week. Boston Strong.
