Just some goats doing some lawn care for the course manager at Aruba's Tierra del Sol. They have a sniper posted at the top of the lighthouse to fend off the wildlife on the course. Just kidding. Enjoy.

My first real digital camera was a Canon Powershot G1. 3MP of fun. I still have it and use it on job sites on occasion. No filters, no ND filters, just catching the sun in Harbor Town on Hilton Head at the right time. We vacationed there for years in a row when the kids were young. Love that place. Enjoy.

I was doing some housekeeping on Smugmug and came across this photo from many years back that need some attention. I had originally posted this as right out of the camera. I took this long before there was HDR and it's pretty much untouched except for some help from a Nik plugin. I'm liking this Hilton Head, SC pic much more now. Enjoy.

Nothing like taking a walk on a warm summer night down at Harbor Town, in Hilton Head, SC with the Lighthouse in the shadows and a beautiful sunset behind.  I miss that place.  We used to visit almost every year when the kids were younger.  A great family place to visit.  Enjoy.

I caught this moon over the lighthouse at Harbor Town in Hilton Head, SC several years go.  After several attempts, I was able to hold the camera steady enough to capture the moment.  No tripod here.  Enjoy.

Last night, I attended the Red Sox game with my daughter and after a brief shower, the sun came out and lit up the sky to a beautiful red orange hue.  This photo of the lighthouse at Harbor Town in Hilton Head, SC isn't quite the same sky, but a beautiful one none the less.  I have many more awesome sunsets and sunrises to come.  Enjoy.

OK, I just posted a lighthouse a few days back.  This one is located in York Maine, two states away.  I make a point to take photos of every lighthouse I see as they remind me of my Mom, who really loves lighthouses.  Enjoy!

You are looking at the Newport Harbor Lighthouse located in Newport, RI just off the mainland and next to the Hyatt hotel.  In the distance is the Newport Bridge.  How original.  I liked the play of the sweeping suspension bridge, the scale of the lighthouse and how it almost appears to stretch itself over the top of the diminutive lighthouse.  Lots of stuff going on here.  Enjoy!
